"Hot
all over at the thought of being given a Valentine
in front of a queue of first-years, which happened
to include Ginny Weasley, Harry tried to escape.
The dwarf, however, cut his way through the crowd
by kicking people’s shins, and reached him before
he’d gone two paces."

The Valentine Song
- Commentary
The Valentine Song is a song taken directly from
the book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,
a hilarious moment when Ginny sends Harry a
musical Valentine, which he hears in front of a
big crowd of Hogwarts students! In order to make
this song as light hearted and fun as possible, we
decided to write it in the style of a traditional
Sea Shanty, as they are often repetitive and the
lyrics are repeated several times!
Fred and George don’t feature on this song, in
fact, none of the Weasleys feature on it, not even
Ginny! The song is sung by the dwarfs roped into
the Valentine’s Day celebrations by Professor
Lockhart, complete with golden wings and harps.
So Don your sailor suits and join in with the
dwarfs as they sing ‘The Valentine Song’, enjoy!

The Valentine
Song
- Lyrics |
|
|
His eyes are as green
as a fresh pickled toad |
|
His hair is as dark as
a blackboard. |
|
I wish he was mine, he
is really divine, |
|
The hero who conquered
the Dark Lord. |
