The Yule Ball - Commentary
It’s time
to don your white suits and brush up those dance
moves; it’s the Yule Ball, Disco style!
In her 3rd
year of Hogwarts we see Ginny attend the Yule Ball
as Neville’s partner. Following on from the
advice she took in Hermione’s plan, far from
pining over Harry all night, we decided to show
Ginny having fun, dancing and meeting new people,
namely a certain Michael Corner! We felt that
Disco was the best style to compliment this song
as the light-hearted beat and groovy bass line
simply makes you want to dance. As you can
see from our picture, all the Weasleys are joining
in and showing off their disco moves, but no
matter how hard Gred and Forge tried they just
couldn't convince Percy to join in. So what did
they do? Dress him in a bright blue and yellow
jumpsuit and force him to stand in the middle
under the glitter ball of course! (their other
plan to trick him into a spotlight dance with
Moaning Myrtle didn't work). Poor Percy. |
